The Template Parameters - Style

Params

Open up the template parameters from the Template Manager (Extensions -> Templates, click the template title "bold") to view the parameter options. These options will help you to quickly customise the way Bold displays.

Primary Color

Defines the primary color to be used in the template.  This color will determine colors such as links, highlights and other style accents.

Backdrop

Bold features six individual, subtle backdrops:

  • Globe (default)
  • Circles
  • Lines
  • Splat
  • Drips
  • Fade

Choose a style that best matches your site's subject matter, or switch between the different styles as often as you like! It's also really simple to make your own if you're feeling creative...

Wrapper Border Width

Sets the pixel width of the surrounding border.  Enter a numerical figure.

Wrapper Border Color

Defines the wrapper border color.  Enter this as a hexdecimal color code in the format RRGGBB, for example "669900".  No need to prefix with #.

CSS3

Enables CSS3 rounded corners for the main site frame, the "-hilite" module class suffix, and the "-primary" module class suffix.  Please note this feature will only work on browsers supporting CSS3 (at time of writing, Safari 3+, Firefox 3+ and Opera).  Browsers that do not parse CSS3 instructions will simply display the corners as normal, square edges.
